Preventive measures that can be applied are based on the principles of exclusion of symptomatic persons from the workplace, physical distancing, hand washing, respiratory etiquette and maintaining hygiene measures with tools, equipment and surfaces frequently touched.

The 3-ply mask is mandatory in all indoor public places since October 9th, but also in outdoor public places when physical distancing is impossible. The Canadian (level 1) Dr Eid masks are made in Canada and meet CNESST standards.

Students must wear the mask almost at all times in schools, except when eating or participating in physical education classes.
